“The divinity of Jesus is made a convenient cover for absurdity. Nowhere in the Gospels do we find a precept for Creeds, Confessions, Oaths, Doctrines and whole carloads of other foolish trumpery that we find in Christianity.” -- John Adams, 2nd President of the United States

“If Jesus had been executed in the twentieth century instead of the first, Christians would be wearing little electric chairs around their necks.” -- Lenny Bruce

"A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear and punishment and hope of reward after death." -- Albert Einstein

"Heretics deserve not only to be separated by the Church by excommunication, but also to be severed from the world by death." --Thomas Aquinas "Summa Theologica" in "Great Books of the Western World"

FOR WELL OVER 1000 years Christinsanity has been the enemy of freedom of thought. It has stood for
Why do we call it Christinsanity? That doesn't seem very nice.

We take off the kid's gloves because, for one thing, Christinsanity is the world's dominant religion. For another, its victims generally don't shy away from trying to force their lunacy down everyone's throat. They aggressively enter the political arena in order to legislate "Biblical Morality," though the Bible is one of the least moral books of antiquity.

As we shall see, their "Thou Shalt Not" approach to morality creates young adults with no developed moral skills of their own, no ability to make wise decisions unless somewhere a "Thou Shalt Not" hangs over their heads like a sword of Damocles. In short, it produces moral bankruptcy.

Christinsanity fails to understand that morality is the skill of feeling inside in order to make outward decisions; and that imposing Thou Shalt Nots from outside turns kids into adults who are moral duffers. Take away the Thou Shalt Nots and they are helpless.

And what is the Christian answer? Crush all humanity under an avalanche of Thou Shalt Nots imposed by moral duffers.

In short, however benign believers may appear as individuals, collectively they have become a threat to human liberty. En masse, they trample over the flowers of life.

Theirs may be insanity, but it is insanity that endangers the sane.

ecclesiastical influence over the state, for employing the power of government in the service of forcing its religious precepts upon the minds of humans.

First to throw off these religious shackles were the American colonists of 1776, whose revolution led to the creation of the world's premier nation based on democratic principles, separation of church and state, and constitutionally guaranteed freedom of thought.

Today Christinsanity rears its ugliness anew as its leaders insist that the United States is a "Christian nation" and deny that separation of church and state is one of its founding doctrines.

It is not enough to point out that this is a inversion of the facts. Because, quite honestly, facts don't matter to the Christ-insane. They won't let facts get in their way as they try to bully their insanities on the rest of us.

They are traitors to the American Revolution (they never embraced it to begin with), and those of us who love liberty must stand up and oppose them.

Our liberties are too important to merely passively defend them. It is not sufficient to argue for separation of church and state against an enemy that is too wealthy and powerful to care. We must counter-attack, striking at their weakness: the belief system itself.
Christinsanity is the largest religion in the world, and its absurdities dominate religious thought in America. Nor has it abandoned its cult-like goal of ruling the thoughts and behaviors of all humans, or of using state power to that end.

If it is not Christinsanity it is Islaminsanity, its sister and rival -- together they are the greatest threat to freedom the world faces. But Christinsanity is over twice the size of its rival worldwide, and its assault is directed here in the United States of America, at the home of the Revolution of 1776.

We must defend our Revolution, or give up freedom of thought.
